Ohio State fans face an uncomfortable truth about standout freshmen Legend Bey and Khary Wilder as the Buckeyes coaching staff signals accountability issues keeping them sidelined. Despite hype and raw talent, neither player has seized their opportunity, raising questions about consistent practice habits and reliability during game prep. Explosive plays in the run game remain elusive, but the message from Ryan Day is clear: trust and discipline are non-negotiable at Ohio State.
The Buckeyes’ AP poll position remained unchanged after defeating Iowa, yet that win could be a major asset down the stretch. Iowa holds strong at 4-1, and with a favorable remaining schedule absent Big Ten heavyweights, the Hawkeyes could finish with a strong record, making Ohio State’s victory look even better when the College Football Playoff Committee scrutinizes resumes.
