Ryan Day is executing a masterclass in running back motivation with Bo Jackson and Ja'Kobi Jackson leading the Ohio State Buckeyes' backfield. Despite Ja'Kobi earning the starting RB designation, Bo continues to outpace him in both snaps and carries, raising questions about Day's strategy and whether keeping Bo hungry, and angry, might be the secret weapon for Ohio State’s ground game in the Big Ten.
Meanwhile, defensive lineman James Smith faces an uncertain future after another disappointing performance and dwindling snaps, with the Buckeyes possibly locking in a new defensive line rotation. Will James Smith rebound or is his rollercoaster journey in Columbus nearing its end? Buckeyes fans are left to wonder who will truly anchor Ohio State’s push through the season’s most critical stretch.
