Ohio State shattered Indiana's aura of invincibility, snapping multiple impressive streaks, including 22 consecutive wins and a jaw-dropping 1,437-play run without a lost fumble. The Buckeyes' defense, led by standout moments from Jay Timmons and Jaylen McClain, forced two crucial turnovers that swung momentum and crushed Indiana’s hopes.
Yet Ohio State’s offensive strategy raised eyebrows as they inexplicably abandoned a highly effective quick-hit passing game in favor of long-developing plays, leaving their quarterback exposed and sidelined by injury. With Sayin out, and a backup QB leading the offense behind a shaky line, will the Buckeyes adapt and build around short, high-efficiency throws to keep their championship hopes alive?
